The Esplanade

On Tuesday 12 May we went to The Esplanade for our Connected Curriculum. We had four rotations. One was at the Rose Garden, another one was the bush walk, the playground and the Conservatory. We looked at the things plants need to grow and found that different plants need different conditions, like the roses needed to be out in the open to get lots of sun, but plants on the bush walk liked the damp and cold. We had to do some observational drawings and take photographs. In the Conservatory the man gave us some cat's tails (fluffy plants) and banana leaves. We were tired and our legs were aching from the walk when we got back to school.
Thank you to the parents who came with us and helped us with our worksheets.
