Mung Beans

As part of studying plants, we are looking at what Mung Beans do when placed in a jar of water. Lots of us thought that they would not grow without being planted in soil. These are Camryn's observations so far:

11.5.09
The Mung Beans looked like a type of dark green. They were also VERY little. Miss Greene put some in a jar with water.

12.5.09
I noticed that the mung beans had grown longer and the longer ones were a lighter green. They stink and they have also got a brown bit around the white bit. Some of the green is coming off and changing into white. Some didn't grow so they are still little. Miss Greene changed the water.

13.5.09
I saw that the mung beans have gotten even stinkier and the green is coming off even more. They are also much lighter and the brown is still there. Miss Greene changed the water again.
