As part of our plant unit, we have now narrowed our focus to vegetables. Our big Inquiry question is 'How can we grow the best vegetables?'. Our mini Inquiry questions are 'What vegetables can we grow?', 'Which vegetables are the healthiest for us?', 'Which vegetables are the easiest to grow?' and 'What helps vegetables to grow?'. We are hoping to produce a poster or booklet with tips to help people grow vegetables and we are looking for vegetable recipes to create a recipe book (this links in with our Written Language focus at the moment, which is Procedures). We are finding the recipe search quite exciting and have issued all the recipe books from the school library!
